Initially founded by David Tran in 1980, and its humble beginnings starting on Spring Street in the Los Angeles Chinatown district, the variety of sauces slowly emerged onto the market. In 1983, the iconic Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce was introduced to customers. It soon became the leader in the Asian hot sauce market, popularly referred to as the rooster sauce due to the image of a rooster on the label. With its recognisable appearance and bright red bottles, it has found its place among kitchen staples worldwide.
